2022 amateur draft pick round 2 ( Marlins )
Blandino was at the back end of my bench. He hasn’t got a lot of AB’s this season but is slated to get a lot more playing time with Votto going down. Turns out the Cardinals were just looking for a bench bat to replace Votto. On my end the Marlins pick looks like it will be an earlier selection then the one I acquired from the Cardinals earlier. So I made the trade to try to get closer to the first round ( the Cubs own my first round pick). The Marlins could get hot and just fuck up everything but you have risk with every trade. So I traded Blandino to move up 10/15 picks in the second round.
