Cardinals make this deal because we’re in win now mode. My OF was a weak spot last year and getting Straw is a nice upgrade over Piscotty. Robles is a huge wild card, but he’s still young and I tend to not give up on former top prospects. Kelly helps to ease giving up Ruiz and Dingler could step up to the be the catcher of the future. Manning and Wendelken help out my pitching staff to hopefully push me over the top. Trading what amounts to my 3 best prospects could hurt big time later on, but I’m pushing all in. Rangers to approve later this evening.
