Casey Mize will be a long-time ace from Detroit in the footsteps of Verlander and Scherzer --- but the vallue offered was overwhelming....

Ethan Small will eventually become the replacement ace for Casey Mize in the Toronto rotation. White and Canning -- one will pan out as back-end starters.

The 2023 FYPD draft will include some generational talents and Toronto wants as much presence in the 1st round as possible.

This may push back our competitive timeline --- but we will try to make a couple moves to adjust..... which again, for 2023 draft class -- it's worthwhile.
