Wow...never expected Franco would move. Rangers doing this as the team feels long-term there is more upside than given up, even though losing Franco hurts. The gains of Strider/Grissom/Walston help bolster the future rotation with Strifes having basically a 16.8 K/9 IP and the makings of a future elite closer, or a very solid near the top of the rotation starter, if not more. Add in the upside of Walston, and the club gains a nice future 1-2 punch. Grissom is very underrated as an SS prospect and should only improve as he matures. The big piece in the deal was Kelenic who struggled in his MLB promotion last season, but has the potential to be a high upside OF with a nice power base.
