With the acquisition of Salvador Perez and Melendez in an interesting deal for he club to take. The Rangers develop a nice young arm in exchange for depth purposes and take a calculated risk on Cespedes. Zamora is a new prospect for the Rangers who are willing to see what he offers.

Astros Accept:

We lost a lot of lower level talent in our failed attempt at a championship last year. So Cespedes brings us some much needed high level youth into our system. Espinal is a versatile young player at a positions of need. Caratini and Rorveldr gives us some depth at a weaker position.

I believe Zomara has a high ceiling and low floor. So he was tough to give up but I had some depth. Javier is a stud. He’s only blocked by circumstance.

I’m summary Espinal fills a big depth need and Cespedes brings a top asset. I’m the short term I didn’t improve but the hope this trade brings me future leverage as needled.

Javier is affordable and proven. His time in a rotation will be the thing about this trade.
