Riley Tirotta 3B/TOR (Spec)
Hunter Barnhart SP/TB (Spec)

Jays Receive:
2022 MILBFA Pick 12-29 (2nd rd pick), 13-2 (3rd rd pick), 14-29 (4th rd pick)

The need for a 3B was glaring and this deal will hopefully help shore up the position in the near, as opposed to more distant future. Barnhart is a tough nose pitcher who is aggressive in K Zone and can attack at will. While there will be a bit of bullpen risk, the rays have done a great job in the past developing young pitchers and hopefully Barnhart can continue the trend of being

Confirmed.

The 2021 FYPD delivered a haul of 40 players, bringing the Toronto minor league system up to a total of 140 players.....

This means we have the depth to meet other teams' needs.
