Rangers are taking a gamble here by dealing number of power hitting prospects but feel it is worth the gamble as Castillo should be the clear ace on our staff. Also, looking at out minors, we still have numerous really touted prospects we value highly and were able to retain even though we pursued a high end SP. The 2 prospects we gain may be underrated but time will tell on them. The real helpful part here is the salary relief as now the team will have a bit of breathing room to operate with going forward. This flexibility will enable the club to make some moves envisioned before, but never put into action due to cap issues. Nice dealings, Marlins

I hate to see Castillo go, I own him in almost every league I am in, but he deserves a ring and my team can't get him that right now. I was asking for for 2 top 50 prospects to start any deal and while I only got one, I should be able to either build around Laureano or trade him for another top prospect. The top of the Rangers Rotation is locked in the next 4 or 5 years. Good luck on your ring friend
