This deal took a while to hammer out, but ultimately we needed to move on from Lindor and were willing to give up the return and salary relief we did in addition to taking on cap back. We feel the key to the deal could be Senzel as he is $9K through 2026, which could bog down the team if he flounders. We are glad, however, to receive back Rosario who is a good replacement for Lindor at a fraction of the cost. This deal ties up a good bit of cap for a few years, bu saves the team a lot off of Lindor as well. Risk/reward for production versus cap hit accepted.
