FMLB Transactions

•)GMs are responsible for posting all transactions in their appropriate transactions thread. All posts should include the Team and/or the player's name in the subject line of the post.



•)Teams may promote any players from their minor leagues as long as they have the available roster spot/salary cap.

•)When promoting a prospect (player who does not currently have a contract), the initial contract will be ARB1. ($400,000)

•)Promoted minor league prospects will have an indefinite $400,000 ARB1 contract until reaching rookie limits (130 AB / 50 IP), at which point, their contract end date will be the year where the limits are reached + 6 years (i.e., if a player surpasses the limits in 2013, his initial contract will expire in 2019, giving his team seven years of service, with annual raises based on arbitration)


•)GMs are allowed to trade draft picks (up to two drafts into the future) and players. They are allowed to pay a portion of a traded player's salary but may not send cash in a deal.
•)When paying a portion of a player's salary, please specify who is paying it, how much, and for how many years.

Example (First example is ILLEGAL, second example is LEGAL):
** Assume the following players have their "real life" contracts.

Example 1:
This IS NOT allowed (Notice there is more money in this trade then dollars in the players' contracts):
Player A trades: $10,000,000 and Bobby Witt jr.
Player B trades: Yu Darvish

Example 2:
This IS allowed
Player A trades: Witt Jr.
Player B trades: Yu Darvish ( team B pays $10,000,000 of Players remaining contract)

•)When a trade is agreed upon between GMs, one GM will post the trade in the trade forum along with a brief explanation of why they made that trade, the other Owner in the trade will need to reply with their reasoning. So everyone in a good communication with what their trying to do as a DYNASTY.

•)Trades will be processed immediately.

Non-waiver Trade Deadline:
July 31st each year at 4 PM EST (same as MLB)

Post Non-waiver Trade Deadline Rules
Post- July 31st
Any player on a FMLB 40-man roster or a MLB 40-man roster must pass through waivers in order to be traded.
